Planning a Fall School Carnival
Are you trying to plan a school carnival for this coming fall? School is right around the corner and soon your PTO or PTA will be tasked with planning a school carnival.
What are the things you need to consider when planning a school carnival? There are several things you should consider when planning a carnival, but there are a couple things that can really make your planning effort a lot easier.
1. Contact a party rental company soon. Did you know that many PTO’s book their carnivals before the school year event starts? It’s true. Start planning early because most companies who rent inflatables only have a certain number of rides in their inventory. Once pieces are booked, they cannot be rented on the same day again. That is why it is important to book early and plan your event early. You can leave smaller school carnival details until later, but you need to have your main attractions covered before you get left in the cold.
2. Start getting volunteers soon. Get people to commit to helping you for your date right now. Get in their ear so that you are not scrambling last minute to get people to help you with your big school carnival day.
3. Relax and leave it to the pros. Once you get your date, time, and inflatable equipment booked you really just need to cover some of the smaller details of your school carnival. If you need help your inflatable rental company should be able to give you advice about your event and give you guidance as to what other school have done in the past.
