DDR Parties with Inflatable Screens

Dance Dance Revolution, or DDR as it is known by its fans, is a very popular video game amongst kids and young adults.  This game involves kids dancing to the rythm of music and symbols that are displayed on the screen as teh DDR music is playing.  This is a very fun game for kids and allows them to be more active while playing video games, something that parents have long asked for.

DDR can certainly be a great theme for a party.  How do you best incorporate Dance Dance Revolution into a party?  You could simply set up a video game system and have the kids play the game on a regular TV.  This would be just like them playing the DDR game at their own home.

There are however some cool ways to jazz up the DDR party.  One of the coolest ways to do this is to rent an inflatable screen to play the video game on.  This is great to do because the screen is usually most bigger than just a regular television.  This way the kids can play the video game in life-size realism.

Inflatable screens are truly unique.  They are not something that many people get to see a lot of, so people are really impressed with them when they see them at a party.

For the DDR mats, you pretty much have two options.  You can either use the smaller mats that you buy with the video game for home use, or you can rent the hard metal ones that are at the actual arcade locations.  The metal ones would probably be preferable for a larger event because kids like to have the real arcade feel versus the at-home feel.

A DDR party can be a really fun thing for your kids.  Plan it correctly with an inflatable screen and DDR arcade mats and you will be on track for a great Dance Dance Revolution party.
