5 Things Every Parent Should Know About Inflatable Bouncers
Renting an inflatable bouncer can be a daunting experience for many parents. There are five things that you must keep in mind when renting a bouncer that can help you in your quest for the ultimate in party rental item.
1. Cheaper doesn’t mean better
When you are renting a bouncer you may be tempted to search the internet and just go with the absolute cheapest bouncer you can find. The old saying, “You get what you pay for” really applies when it comes to bouncer rentals. Sure, you can always find someone who will undercut the next guy by a dollar or two, but what are you paying for? You must remember that service, professionalism, and promptness all matter when it comes to getting a quality bouncer.
2. Sanitation
Be sure to ask your bouncer rental company how they sanitize their inflatables. This is important as many companies rent out each unit two or three times every weekend. If they don’t clean their inflatables, how can you let your kids jump around?
3. Safety
Is the company you are renting from certified by such safety organizations as SIOTO (Safe Inflatable Operator Training Organization)? Ask them if they stake down their units or use sandbags on concrete. It does not take much for a bouncer to blow away in the wind!
4. Insurance
Your inflatable bouncer rental company should carry liability insurance. This is important. It shows responsibility on the part of the inflatable rental company. Do they also carry workers’ compensation insurance for their delivery drivers? What about commercial automotive coverage? All of these should be factors in your decision to rent from the company of your choice. Inflatable companies are not required to carry insurance! Don’t assume they have it! You need to ask to be sure.
5. Professionalism
Professionalism can mean many different things to many different people. Did the inflatable rental company email you a confirmation of your order after you rented from them? Did they allow you to use credit card or are they a “cash only” outfit? Are they licensed to do business in your state? You want to rent from a professional company, not some “fly-by-night” operation.
Renting a bouncer can be a very fun and enjoyable experience. There are many great companies to rent from, you just need to find the bouncer rental company that is the right fit for your needs.
